Assistant Professor of Social Work, TahlequahDescription of PositionThe College of Liberal Arts at Northeastern State University is seeking a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate/graduate-level social work classes. Teaching ResponsibilitiesSocial work faculty members teach a full-time load (12-13 credits per semester) in online, face- to-face, or blended formats.ServiceServe on academic committees, advise and mentor students, perform scholarly research activities, and service activities.Required Education and ExperienceAn MSW from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited programA minimum of two years post-MSW social work practice experience (Gerontology field is preferred)A DSW/Ph.D. in social work or related field. ABD's will be considered, but must complete all degree requirements by July 31, 2024;Teaching experience in micro, mezzo, and/or macro teaching experienceCapacity to teach across program levels (bachelor's and master's)Ability to teach via various instructional delivery methods, including face-to-face, service-learning, and onlineDocuments needed to applyCover letterCurrent curriculum vitaStatement of teaching philosophy Unofficial transcripts, Contact information for three professional references.
