This position will teach three classes each fall and spring with a possible teaching assignment in the summer. This position will also serve on departmental, college, and university committees. This faculty member will maintain his/her professional affiliations and contribute to professional activities. This position will mentor students and provide advice on professional endeavors.Department Department of CommerceFLSA: ExemptMinimum Qualifications: Holds the highest degree appropriate to the field or possesses equivalent qualifications based on professional experience, and be otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee engages in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities.Position Qualifications: •Doctoral degree from an AACSB-accredited institution in Supply Chain Management/Logistics or a closely-related field, including at least 18 graduate semester hours in Supply Chain Management/Logistics and a strong commitment to teaching, academic research, and service.•Pertinent work experience, continuing professional development, and an active research agenda to maintain qualifications for performing teaching assignments.•Relevant teaching experience, including proven effectiveness in online course development and teaching.•Evidence of potential for quality scholarship, including publication in qualifying academic journals.Preferred Qualifications •Doctoral degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics from an AACSB-accredited institution. Education must be coupled with pertinent work experience, continuing professional development, and a robust research agenda.•Coursework or work experience in the Supply Chain Strategy-related topics.
