The position includes the following duties: 1) teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate (MA) levels, 2) establishing an active program of research involving undergraduate and graduate students, and 3) service to the department, college, university, and profession. The teaching load is 3:3 (three 3-credit courses per fall and spring semesters). Preference will be given to candidates with a child and/or adolescent psychology specialization.The successful candidate for the position will have completed a doctoral degree from an APA- accredited program and show strong evidence of potential for excellence in teaching and research at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Successful candidates will also demonstrate potential for success in pursuing extramural funding and the ability to supervise, mentor and involve students in research. This person will be responsible for (1) teaching undergraduate (e.g., Abnormal Psychology, Theories of Personality, Assessment, Intro to Clinical and Counseling Psychology) and graduate courses (e.g., Developmental Psychopathology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies for Children/Adolescents, Human Sexuality) as well as supervising clinical practica and internships.
