What Key needs: The Key Program in Worcester, MA is currently seeking three (3) Assistant Program Supervisors:
For a short-term, 90-day emergency residencegroup homes serving up to nine (9) adolescent girls.For a short-term, 90-day emergency residence group home serving up to nine adolescent boys. For a long-term intensive treatment residence for up to nine (9) adolescent girls. All programs provide trauma informed care and treatment to the youth who are involved with the MA Department of Children and Families (DCF). The Assistant Supervisor works within a team system with the Program Supervisor, Clinician and Program Nurse in the areas of program administration, client and family services, and staff training.What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field is REQUIRED (i.e., psychology, sociology, social work, criminal justice, counseling, child and family development, etc.)
- 1- 3 years of direct care experience is a minimum requirement
- Must be able to attend training to receive a Massachusetts Medication Administration Program (MAP) Certification
- All candidates must be 21 years of age or older
- Possess a valid state driver's license; have a legally registered and insured car for work use
- Ability to work a varied schedule including both first and second shifts, some weekend days and holidays
- The work week may exceed 40 hour per week, with overtime pay
- Participation in a scheduled rotation for regional on-call is required

What you'll do:
- Coordinate daily program activities for the youth in the programs and assign responsibilities to caseworker staff
- Help to ensure the youth receive quality services that comply with standards and regulations
- Develop positive working relationships with funding sources and all other collaterals
- Assist in the orientation and training of new staff
- Ensure appropriate staff-to-client ratio and provide direct care when needed
- Ensures implementation and adherence to health and safety policies and procedures
- Attend and participate in regional supervisory meetings and participate in the regional on-call system
