Assistant Project Accountant The Assistant Project Accountant reports to the Director of Project Accounting and provides support to the Project Teams in various accounting related areas and provides support to the financial department in the area of AccountsPayable, Subcontractor Costing, Owner Billings, and Cost Reporting. Essential Functions
  • Process Accounts Payable invoices and payments.
  • Set up and enter project budgets.
  • Owner Billing Preparation.
  • Process intercompany invoices, payments and reconciliation.
  • Assist in the Monthly Cost Reporting and monthly financial closings.
  • Ensure compliance to Accounting policies on all projects.
  • Vendor & Client Correspondence.
  • Document Management.
  • Contract Reconciliation.
  • Cost report analysis.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good Written and Oral Communications Skills, Strong Initiative, Problem Solving abilities.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multi-tasker, creative and analytical.
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude.
