Description

In this role, you will play a key part in managing projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities as Assistant Project Manager - General Contractor - Charlotte will include:

• Coordinating and managing project resources to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Overseeing personnel development and team performance.
• Communicating expectations and providing coaching.
• Conducting regular meetings to track project progress.
• Identifying and solving problems that arise during projects.
• Collaborating with the pre-construction team on project development.
• Managing budget and financial reporting.

Profile

We are looking for a candidate who is ready to contribute and grow. The ideal Assistant Project Manager - General Contractor - Charlotte will have:

• 2+ years of construction experience with a general contractor.
• Experience in ground-up commercial, education, healthcare, and/or industrial projects.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with project management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional approach and business mindset.
• Local candidates in Charlotte preferred, though relocators are encouraged to apply.
