Job DetailsJob Details:As an Assistant Project Manager for Healthcare Construction, you will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and finalization of construction projects in the healthcare sector. You will be involved in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves working closely with a team of professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and requires a deep understanding of construction management processes, healthcare construction standards, and project management principles.Responsibilities:1. Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of the project lifecycle, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.2. Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.3. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, facilitating effective communication between all parties.4. Ensure all projects adhere to healthcare construction standards, regulations, and best practices.5. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, timeframes, and schedules.6. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and propose effective solutions.7. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.8. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all relevant information is recorded and updated regularly.9. Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.10. Participate in project meetings and provide valuable input to improve project outcomes.Qualifications:1. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, specifically in healthcare construction.3. Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager in the construction industry.4. Solid understanding of construction management processes, means and methods.5. Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.6. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project), and any other construction management systems.7. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.8. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.9. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing project needs and priorities.11.
