Your new company This company is a well-known, long-standing firm within the High-End Residential space in NYC. High-End Residential is different from luxury residential in the way that this is much more detail-focused. This firm is doing projects for the founders of banks, the people you see up on the big screen, and the investors that have found the secrets of money-making. With funds like theirs on hand, there is no limit to the beautiful and complicated work that they may want to be done in their home or their property. This firm is one of the ones that has been making satisfied clients for years. Based in Manhattan, and serving Manhattan, this High-End Residential firm is poised to please clients for years. Because of the ideal position they find themselves in within our market, they are expanding! Starting with an Assistant Project Manager like you... Your new role As an Assistant Project Manager for this firm, you will be supporting one or multiple Project Managers or Senior Project Managers. On any given project, you could be responsible for tasks like meeting agendas, meeting minutes, bid-leveling, RFI, submittals, change orders, putting together rough schedules, etc. The career path for you would be to move up as soon as you are ready. Once you are ready to take a project on on your own, they will hire another APM that will support YOU! What you'll need to succeed
- 3+ years' experience in NYC construction
- High-End Residential project experience highly preferred
- Ability to produce construction documents on your own (meeting minutes, bid-leveling spreadsheet, etc.)
- Experience with AutoCAD & Bluebeam a big plus
- Construction or Design-related degree is preferred
