We seek a team player with proven ability to manage overall HVAC and Plumbing construction projects from imitation to completion.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:As Assistant Project Manager- HVAC and Plumbing, you will work closely with the Project Management team to effectively and efficiently assist them with their daily duties and to identify and resolve issues.Prepares and manages submittals.Prepares and maintains material/equipment status and tracking log.Prepares and manages RFI's.Tracks and manages material and equipment purchase orders.Tracks and manages change orders.Assists Project Manager in change order pricing.Prepares project closeout documents as required.Effectively communicates among project team members, subcontractors, and clients.Supports the implementation of quality control measures to ensure project specifications are met.Works with internal/external team members as applicable; checks shop drawings, conducts site visits, and assists others as needed. Maintains project drawings files and ensures field staff has most up-to-date drawings.Effectively communicates with Project Management team and other coordinators.Formulates reports on work progress, costs, and scheduling.Communicates the company's core value of safety and project-specific safety requirements, goals, and objectives.Minimum Qualifications:Good knowledge and understanding of the project management process in construction. 1-3 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager- HVAC i.e. familiarity with HVAC and plumbing systems, construction methods and materials.Bachelor's degree in related discipline (Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering) preferred or 2-year technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Highly organized, detail-driven, and conscientious.Strong time management skill and ability to work under tight deadlines and pressures.The ability to read and understand construction drawings is essential.Must have knowledge of the appropriate codes and standards which govern design and operating requirements.Working knowledge of scheduling software, Microsoft Office, MS Project and Procore is helpful.Must have strong verbal and written skills in English.Must have a valid driver's license in good standing.Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without needing current or future sponsorship.About the Company:It is a basic premise at AERO Mechanical, Inc., to provide a top-quality project, in a timely manner, at a competitive price.
