Erwin Electric, Inc. is currently seeking an Electrical Assistant Project manager in the Tampa Bay Area. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. Monitor project progress and address issues as they arise.
- Help in coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that project resources are allocated efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure that electrical installations and projects comply with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and providing updates on project status.
- Track project expenses and assist in managing budgets to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Work closely with project teams to foster a collaborative environment and resolve any issues that may impact project outcomes.
Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of project management experience in the electrical field.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and project management principles.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to occasionally travel to project sites.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in electrical work.
