About Us:

We are a leading commercial general contractor in Charlotte, NC, building a reputation for quality, efficiency, and exceeding client expectations. We're looking for a talented Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team and play a key role in bringing our clients' visions to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage aspects of assigned commercial construction projects, with a value of up to $15 million, or a combination of projects reaching that value.
  • Assist in all project phases, from pre-construction planning and budgeting to execution, completion, and handover.
  • Maintain detailed project schedules and budgets, ensuring they are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and architects, fostering clear communication and collaboration.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and daily logs.
  • Track project costs and ensure all expenditures are within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to learn project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Valid driver's license.
