Job DetailsJob Location Uihlein Corporate Office - BROOKFIELD, WI DescriptionAssistant Project Manager Essential Duties include the following:
  • Comply with company safety policy
  • Attend all project meetings as necessary
  • Contribute to job setup, commodity material buyouts, major material orders, subcontract POs, releasing, tracking, and PSO.
  • Provide PO numbers and submit Material orders to vendors
  • Assist Accounts Payable in the closeout and invoicing of POs
  • Monitor material returns and track credit memos
  • Manage all submittal packages and log status, and follow up until all items are approved and materials are released.
  • Update and maintain required logs, RFIs, COs, submittals, O&M, materials, etc.
  • Manage document control in COINS for all assigned projects
  • Maintain and Audit job files, ensuring continuity
  • Manage and Open any Job Permits
  • Assist Billing Coordinators to ensure monthly billings are on time and complete
  • Provide the Project Managers with any required reports
  • Responsible for compliance with all Uihlein SOPs
  • Ensure all closeout documentation is complete
  • Other duties as assigned
QualificationsQualifications/Requirements:
  • One year of prior experience in construction management project support required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
  • Proficient in Office software. MS Office and Bluebeam
  • Proficient with construction accounting system
  • Possess strong organizational skills and can plan and coordinate multiple projects
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and through written format
  • Ability to maintain rapport with customers, vendors, and employees
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to work in an office where the job performance may require a long time sitting or standing.
  • Produce, file, and perform other administrative functions as assigned.
  • Ability to wear job-specific required PPE as needed.
  • Must be able to drive to various customer sites as required.
Work Environment:
  • Well-lit, heated, and/or air-conditioned modern office setting with adequate ventilation.
  • Employees may experience exposure to heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow on job sites.
