Job DetailsJob Location Uihlein Corporate Office - BROOKFIELD, WI DescriptionAssistant Project Manager Essential Duties include the following:
- Comply with company safety policy
- Attend all project meetings as necessary
- Contribute to job setup, commodity material buyouts, major material orders, subcontract POs, releasing, tracking, and PSO.
- Provide PO numbers and submit Material orders to vendors
- Assist Accounts Payable in the closeout and invoicing of POs
- Monitor material returns and track credit memos
- Manage all submittal packages and log status, and follow up until all items are approved and materials are released.
- Update and maintain required logs, RFIs, COs, submittals, O&M, materials, etc.
- Manage document control in COINS for all assigned projects
- Maintain and Audit job files, ensuring continuity
- Manage and Open any Job Permits
- Assist Billing Coordinators to ensure monthly billings are on time and complete
- Provide the Project Managers with any required reports
- Responsible for compliance with all Uihlein SOPs
- Ensure all closeout documentation is complete
- Other duties as assigned
QualificationsQualifications/Requirements:
- One year of prior experience in construction management project support required
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
- Proficient in Office software. MS Office and Bluebeam
- Proficient with construction accounting system
- Possess strong organizational skills and can plan and coordinate multiple projects
- Effectively communicate both verbally and through written format
- Ability to maintain rapport with customers, vendors, and employees
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work in an office where the job performance may require a long time sitting or standing.
- Produce, file, and perform other administrative functions as assigned.
- Ability to wear job-specific required PPE as needed.
- Must be able to drive to various customer sites as required.
Work Environment:
- Well-lit, heated, and/or air-conditioned modern office setting with adequate ventilation.
- Employees may experience exposure to heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow on job sites.
