Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as an Project Manager, where you'll have the opportunity to lead and support a variety of strategic projects, ensuring they are completed on-time, within budget, and meet customer specifications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and ensure that all project objectives align with both business and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist in managing multiple projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they meet quality, time, and cost targets.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, marketing teams, and other functional groups to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Create detailed, multi-level project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with interdependencies.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and present regular project status updates, reports, and key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial objectives are met.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, risk logs, status reports, and change requests.
  • Utilize project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, etc.) to track project milestones and performance.

Key Success Indicators:

  • Successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Effective leadership of cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ownership.
  • Strong communication with clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactive identification and mitigation of project risks.
  • Efficient resource management to ensure project deliverables are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in defense or contracting sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage projects valued between $500K and $5M.
  • Strong experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Asana.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a focus on both internal team collaboration and customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of defense industry standards and regulations is a plus.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or IFS) is desirable.
