The Position – Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a friendly and professional Assistant Project Manager to help support the growth of our business. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be part of project planning and execution. You will engage with customers, suppliers, and vendors as the project unfolds to track progress and ensure critical components to the project are understood by the construction team and all supporting documentation for the customer is ready for their review. It is critical that as the Assistant Project Manager that you have a mastery of the project scope and key milestones for each of the projects you support. Your responsibilities will include creating and updating detailed project plans, supporting project budget needs, and regularly visiting project sites. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager include:

· Maintain Project Artifacts: Identify upcoming project milestones and customer requirements. Ensure project plan, budget, receipts, and key customer documents do not have any discrepancies and identify areas of the project where the project manager needs to devote additional time to.

· Leverage Eau Gallie Electric Tools to Keep the Team Aligned – Using the existing tools of the Company, provide the appropriate update to team members and monitor project status.

· Engage Leadership to Overcome Obstacles – As the project progresses, quickly and efficiently identify areas where additional clarification of requirements or support with vendor responsiveness is needed.

Key Characteristics of the Assistant Project Manager

· Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze project plans, specifications, customer documents, and vendor quotes/pricing sheets. Strong math skills to perform calculations related to quantities, costs, and project budgets. Detail oriented with strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and precise estimates.

· Technologically Proficient – Proven ability to master new ERP systems and ensure that operational processes and activities are documented correctly to generate the right type of reports to guide decision making.

· Strong Communication and Time Management Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and suppliers. Proven ability to multi-task and handle multiple competing priorities with ease.

· Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic environment, readily adapting to shifting project priorities and unexpected challenges. Demonstrates a flexibility and eagerness to learn new skills.

Pay

· Job Type: Full-time

· Pay: Competitive Salary and comprehensive benefits package

· Bonuses: Pay for performance bonuses paid quarterly (based on the profitability of your jobs); average employee bonus is $2,000.00 per year

Vacation and Holiday

· 7 Days Paid Time Off (PTO) (includes both vacation and sick time); employees receive 12 days of PTO after 5

years of service, PLUS

· 9 Major Holidays paid (New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve)

· Eau Gallie Electric Bonus Week (1 additional week of Paid Time Off (PTO) during the week between Christmas and

New Years to spend with your family and friends).

Insurance and Retirement

· 100% company paid health insurance.

· 100% match company retirement plan, up to 6% of total yearly pay

· $75,000 in life insurance (paid for by the company)

· Short term and Long-term disability insurance (paid for by the company)

· Access to company therapist and/or minister as needed (paid for by the company)

Continuing Education

· Company paid journeyman and master electrician education courses (paid for by the company)

Minimum Requirements

The Recruiter shall meet the following minimum requirements:

· Valid driver's license with own reliable transportation.

· 1-2 years of experience in construction management or a related field.

· Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field preferred.

· Strong knowledge of project management principles

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
