Job Description:
Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is now hiring an Assistant Project Manager for our Projects Division in Charlottesville and surrounding areas. Moore's Project Division supports commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities:
  • Attend turnover meetings for all jobs they are assigned to
  • Help complete job setups, buyouts, and info sheets
  • Start and maintain submittal logs throughout entire submittal process
  • Review GC schedule and create/maintain MEP schedule including equipment delivery, schedules, etc.
  • Type RFI's and assemble info and pricing for change orders
  • Help highlight drawings, put together As-Builts, and help with internal punch list at job completion
  • Complete safety checks and enter information in app during job visits
  • Print and complete job storage sheet while ensuring all items are present for storage
  • Perform other duties assigned by Department or Project Manager
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, and/or equivalent field experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or Mechanical Piping preferred
  • Proficient math and reading skills
  • Exceptional leadership, customer service, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to work individually with a teamwork mindset
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, email, and internet usage; experience in Bluebeam and Smartsheet a plus
