Additionally, our client places a strong emphasis on positive company culture and they want to grow their team with strong construction professionals.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities of an Assistant Project Manager include:
  • Help oversee management of construction projects and lead team in cooperative and synergistic efforts with other disciplines on projects
  • Promote and maintain client relationships
  • Support and coordinate interface between design and field construction
  • Develop and implement site utilization plan and establish needed crew size
  • Assist Project Manager on handling cost, and budget
  • Prepare all required project status reports to coordinate with client
  • Develop frequent site inspections, while maintaining construction safety and OSHA compliance program

    • 3+ years of engineering, architectural, construction or project management experience in related markets
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent
    • Strong organizational skills; candidate should be energized by working with different teams, both internal and external
    • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects and teams concurrently. Comfortable learning new software platforms to track and organize project information
    • Technical background with understanding of building engineering and commercial projects; prior experience in commercial projects
