Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Outstanding GC - Charleston will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and coordinating all project resources from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery in a collaborative setting.
  • Managing team development and performance.
  • Setting job expectations, enforcing policies and procedures, and guiding and mentoring team members.
  • Conducting regular meetings to monitor project progress, ensure compliance with technical, safety, and legal standards, and stay within budget.
  • Applying strategic problem-solving skills to enhance project value.
  • Collaborating with the pre-construction team during project development.
  • Handling budget management and financial reporting, analyzing reports to maintain budget adherence.

Profile

To thrive in this role, candidates should bring a robust background in construction management, particularly with large-scale commercial or healthcare projects. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor will be essential for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

The successful Assistant Project Manager - Outstanding GC - Charleston will have the following experience:

  • At least 5 years of construction experience with a general contractor, with a strong focus on large-scale commercial or healthcare projects.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Project Management Software is advantageous.
