The mission of Real Estate Development and Facilities RED F Department is to plan develop operate and maintain the campus of the NYU Langone Health and provide the foundation for its growth and success in the 21st century. RED F provides strategic campus planning and project development services including architectural studies programming design construction; and associated infrastructure and technological upgrades for both new structures and renovations to existing structures on the NYU Langone Health campus. The Department also operates and manages all facilities infrastructure and related support services across the medical center. RED F is composed of the divisions of Planning, Design, Construction, Facilities Operations Management, Real Estate Housing, Campus Security, Environmental Services, Environmental Health Safety, Radiation Safety, Clinical Engineering and Finance Administration. Reporting to NYU Langone Health s Wayfinding Signage Manager, the Wayfinding Signage APM will assist with implementation and maintenance of sign systems following NYULH Wayfinding Communications Standards and NYULH Design Policies and Procedures NYULH Design Guidelines across all of the campuses. They will review work and assist signage project coordination to completion Project types vary from new construction renovation and maintenance to specialties.Job Responsibilities:
- Develop project definition scope and budget on multiple signage projects
- Produce necessary project relevant presentation documents and production ready files
- Coordinate procurement of services from internal and external vendor services
- Evaluate proposals programming design fabrication of all signage deliverables and ensure they meet NYULH standards
- Meet with PMs architects and end users to assess the design requirement and operational logistics of a given scope
- Perform field inspections to insure that contractors are performing work in accordance with contract documents and NYULH construction standards
- Evaluate post occupancy signage performance and assist with maintenance management as needed
- Follow assigned tasks and projects to satisfactory completion
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Design Management or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in environmental/experiential graphic design or EGD project management Must have an understanding of the signage programming process
- knowledge of sign fabrication methods Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Power Point Photoshop and MS Office
- knowledge of AutoCAD
- Masters degree preferably in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or Design Management
- 3 years experience in environmental/experiential graphic design or EGD project management Key Competencies:
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders: vendors end users managers architects contractors Strong organizational skills and an ability to work on multiple projects and tasks
- Capacity and initiative to work independently assume ownership of projects and an ability to follow through on assignments
- Working knowledge of construction project management and project scheduling

The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $70,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
