Description:Harbor Management is seeking a qualified, motivated and experienced Assistant Property Manager for an elderly/affordable housing property in Lynn, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience with Project Based Section 8/Affordable Housing and have EIV experience and have their COS certification or experience and involvement in annual recertification processing. This candidate's primary responsibilities will include participation in:The direct and efficient operation ofthe complex; operate within established budget; ensure established propertystandards are achieved; maintain occupancy at acceptable levels; reviewdelinquent accounts and take required action while responding to residentrequests in a timely; efficient and courteous manner.Duties may also include, but are not limited to: Waiting list management with processing of new Residents, involvement in processing all annual and interim recertifications, annual unit inspections, invoice processing, rent collection, resident communication, budgeting, capital improvement supervision, REAC/MOR preparation. Must possess good telephone skills, customer service skills, work as a team player, and be able to effectively multi-task. Requirements:Your Qualifications:1-2 years property management experience that includes HUD Section 8 and COS certificationExcellent organizational skillsStrong financial, marketing, supervisory and resident relations skillsSolid budgetary, computer and communications skillsAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingAbility to take initiative and be self-motivatedProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and RealPage or similar property management software preferred.
