Assistant Property Manager - Hybrid Opportunity

Expanding commercial real estate and Property Management firm is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support some of their most prestigious properties. The Assistant Property Manager will work alongside the Property Manager to provide hands-on service to our tenants, vendors, and prospective clients. Great benefits, room for advancement, and pay up to $75,000.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager

  • Utilize MRI system for financial analytics, invoice approval, and lease administration.
  • Read, interpret, and adhere to various agreements and covenants
  • Prepare financial and operational reports monthly.
  • Prepare annual budgets and assist in year-end reconciliations.
  • Personally visit properties and business owners at regular intervals
  • Conduct walk-throughs with new tenants as well as assist existing tenants with upfits. Prepare punch lists and follow-up with contractors.
  • Confirm that all required inspections (such as fire sprinkler, fire panel and stormwater) are completed and submitted as mandated by the municipality.
  • Confirm that tenants are submitting lease-required information such as sales reports and certificates of insurance.
  • Work with accounting following tenant move outs to identify final charges and refund security deposit.
  • Collaborate and provide ideas and updates to marketing for shopping center events, concerts, websites and social media.
  • Facilitate sustainability efforts as directed by the owner.
  • Provide direct, hands-on response to property emergencies including participating in on-call rotation

Qualifications of the Assistant Property Manager

  • Bachelors degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in business, or management
  • Three or more years commercial property management experience
  • Must have professional and proven communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Excel, MRI and other computer applications
