As the Assistant Community Manager, you will influence and guide the experience for those that visit a DTN owned or managed community. Job SummaryThe Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in achieving the property business plan. Through assigned responsibilities, mentoring and leadership to the team, and the ability to step in and lead in the Community Manager's absence, your role requires you to be a jack of all trades. As an Assistant Community Manager, your primary responsibilities include:Leading by example and being a role model for the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture of DTNHave positive interactions with all customers seeking to always provide a positive outcome consistent with DTN's reputation goalsTrain, mentor, and provide leadership to all team members to support the goals of the company, property, and team membersAt the direction of the Community Manager, complete all assigned tasksManage site leasing efforts including sales process, marketing and advertising campaigns, and monthly outreachManage resident retention strategy including DTN renewal process and resident eventsProcess applications and leases for current and future residentsManage social media and reputation management processesCreate and manage all purchase ordersEnsure resident satisfaction with regular interaction including work order follow-upCore Candidate Qualities:1+ years of experience in property management, hospitality or retail industriesFinancial acumen with experience managing to a P&L statementDesire to provide great customer outcomesAn eye for detail - Our properties and team members are representing the brandProficient with computers and various software platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
