Compensation: $ 73,500.00 Annually. Salary may be dependent upon the candidate's qualifications and experience.

This position serves as Leader of a team responsible for development of a structure to interpret and implement federal and state program policies, laws, and regulations. The position assists in the development and recommendation of region operating procedures, objectives, and goals to ensure accurate and integrated delivery of DCF services including child and adult protective services, foster care, adoption, family preservation, eligibility, determinations for cash, medical, food stamps, employment services, and childcare assistance. The position also provides regional oversight and support for child support enforcement services and rehabilitation services. Other duties involved serving as a member of the Region Executive Team who develops and approves regional budgets, ensures policy distribution, and coordinates use of human resources including agency staff, contractors, vendors, and providers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Three years of experience in planning, organizing, and directing the work of a department, program, or agency. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. A broad and extensive knowledge of DCF programs. Demonstrated leadership ability.

* Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver's license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF. Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.
