Under the guidance of the Residence Manager/Program Director, you'll assist clients with tasks like cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene, while also providing crucial support in areas such as medication management, symptom tracking, and money management. Your responsibilities will include escorting clients to appointments and connecting them with valuable community resources. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to a supportive residential environment and help individuals thrive!Essential Position Functions:Directly supervise Residence Counselors. Supervise the delivery of services to clients, including admission to the program, ongoing operations, and discharge from the program with the supervision of the Resident Manager.Ensure that the program is prepared for successful audits and reviews. Complete monthly data collection to monitor services and trends in census, attendance, incidents, and funder outcomes.Available on-call for 24-hour crisis intervention. Attends meetings as requested and is willing to work nights and or weekends as needed.Manage personnel activities, including hiring, shift scheduling, developing policies and procedures, staff meetings, case conferences, staff training, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and labor/management issues.Perform all required administrative duties, data entry, monitoring performance measures, petty cash, and monitoring staff attendance along with providing oversight of medication monitoring and logbook documentation.Ongoing assessment of building maintenance requirements and serves as liaison with maintenance staff regarding repair needs. Ensure overall management of the facility, including repairs and purchasing.Serves as liaison with Property Management & Maintenance Department to ensure overall compliance.Attend staff meetings, supervision, and trainings as required.Ability to work with consumers/residents, and staff in a caring and respectful manner, and with due understanding of and consideration for cultural differences.Conduct apartment/building inspections on multiple floors, utilizing stairs. Provide escorts to clients throughout the community utilizing public transportation & attend meetings/training off-site.Immediately reports serious incidents, serious incident allegations, incidents, or sensitive situations to supervisors.Any other duties as may be assigned.QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of two years in a supportive residential program.Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness.Familiarity with backgrounds in homelessness.Experience with individuals with forensic backgrounds is preferred.Understanding of the justice system is preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and spreadsheets.Knowledge of AWARDS software is preferred.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong organizational and planning abilities.Ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees, clients, and community contacts.Bilingual in Spanish is desirable.The Bridge Inc. is an Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer
