DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the highest level of guest service is achieved by all employees
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of assigned retail locations
- Assist in developing operational guidelines for each retail location
- Achieve business goals and objectives set forth by the Retail Manager
- Promote a healthy, safe, and hazard-free work environment
- Have accountability for department labor and inventory
- Anticipate guests' needs and service requirements and work with Retail Manager to incorporate into operational plans
- Coordinate with the Maintenance division to maximize operational readiness of all retail locations
- Research and suggest new products that fit each store's footprint to Retail Manager
- Monitors the ordering and receiving program for products and supplies to ensure proper quantity and price on all purchases
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum five (5) years of work experience in a retail environment
- Verifiable supervisory experience of ten (10) or more employees for a minimum of two (2) years
- Retail buying experience preferred
- Experience with retail point of sale inventory management systems
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar
- Must possess a valid state driver's license
- Able to lift twenty (20) pounds unassisted and forty (40) pounds with assistance
- Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work in sunny, hot, humid, cold and rainy conditions
