As an Assistant Retail Manager (ARM), you will leverage your customer service expertise and leadership skills to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers. Collaborating closely with the Store Manager, you will enhance your leadership abilities while coaching our Customer Service Representatives to achieve outstanding results. Your Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service throughout the loan or pawn process by guiding consumers and addressing their financial needs.
- Assist with customer account management by handling payments and scheduling customer appointments.
- Work towards company performance goals by building partnerships, securing referrals, and actively participating in in-store and community events.
- Foster customer relationships to generate new business, maintain store profitability, and enhance brand loyalty.
- Support, coach, and develop Customer Service Representatives to unlock the team's full potential.
- Maintain accurate and secure customer information in the Point of Sale system.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Manage office security protocols, including vault and cash drawer procedures, along with bank deposits.
- Oversee the cleanliness and appearance of both internal and external store areas, addressing basic facility needs and coordinating maintenance services.
- Utilize your personal vehicle for bank deposits and company-specific tasks during the workday.
- Navigate and thrive in a fast-paced work environment while handling multiple challenging tasks to meet performance standards.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members at all levels.
- Commit to a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including limited Saturday hours; your work week will total at least 40 hours.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 3 months of supervisory or leadership experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Familiarity with phone, Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant technologies.
- Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
- Background check is required (subject to applicable law).
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, which includes remaining stationary, transporting up to 25 pounds, moving throughout the store, and operating mechanical controls such as a keyboard.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus and may be necessary for certain locations.
