Job Description:
National Indoor RV Centers (NIRVC) Assistant Service Advisor is responsible for assisting the Service Advisor in providing exceptional customer service, managing customer inquiries and complaints, and scheduling and coordinating service appointments. The Assistant Service Advisor also provides support to the Service Technicians, ensuring that they have the necessary parts and resources to complete repairs efficiently.NIRVCs Assistant Service Advisor role is a basepluscommission role. Average yearly earnings are between $50,000 and $60,000Key Responsibilities:Assist Service Advisor in managing customer inquiries, complaints, and service appointmentsGreet customers in a professional and friendly manner, listen to their concerns and advise them on necessary repairs or servicesSchedule and coordinate service appointments, ensuring that the Service Technicians have adequate time and resources to complete repairsAssist with creating service orders and work orders, entering vehicle and customer information accurately into appropriate systemsCommunicate with Service Technicians to ensure they have the necessary parts, tools, and resources to complete repairs efficientlyFollow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with service and repairs, and address any concerns or issuesAssist in maintaining accurate records of service and repairs, including customer information, parts used, and time spent on repairsAssist with managing inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring that necessary parts are available for repairs and ordering new parts as neededMaintain a clean and organized work area, including the service desk, waiting area, and service baysComply with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations governing automotive repair and serviceQualifications:Previous experience in automotive service or RV service in a management capacityStrong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints in a professional and friendly mannerDetail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyKnowledge of RV systems and repairs preferredFamiliarity with service software and databases preferredValid driver's licenseProfessional presence and appearanceWorking Conditions:Work schedule may include evenings and weekendsMay be required to stand or sit for extended periods of timeMay be required to lift heavy objects, up to 50 poundsMay be exposed to noise, dust, and fumes in the service baysMay be required to work in inclement weather conditionsWhat we offer:We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career advancement.Medical, Dental, and Vision Available 1st of the month following start date Voluntary Supplemental benefits (STD, LTD, Life, Accident, Critical Illness)401K 4 paid Holidays and 40 hours of Floating HolidayIndustry leading payAdvancement opportunitiesIf you are a customer-focused individual with a passion for the RV industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
