OverviewPlacement Type: TemporarySalary (USD): $26.99 to $29.99/hrStart Date: 11.04.2024Our top beauty client is seeking an Assistant Social Media & Advocacy Manager who will be responsible for managing social media channels, building relationships with the brand communities, aiding in content creation efforts, and supporting additional digital activities as needed. Responsibilities include:
- Post, monitor & engage with the community on all social media channels
- Write copy/captions and develop community responses
- Lead monthly editorial calendar development, source user-generated content, and ensure delivery in a timely manner
- Respond to questions and comments across all social channels in a quick & timely manager with ability to spot potential crisis
- Build organic relationships with influencers & advocates through community outreach, product send outs, and new consumer identification
- Collaborate & align with key partners to ensure launches, events and partnerships are supported on social
- Generate competitive reports & engage in competitive outreach
- Engage in social listening to identify and act on trends
- Support digital lead on additional digital media related requests, including but not limited to: channel management process and workflows, channel & post innovation, creative input, insights monitoring & reporting, and support on launch plans
Requirements:
- 2-3 years in social media management
- Must have experience as a hairstylist
- Excellent verbal communication & writing skills
- A creative eye to curate cohesive and engaging social platforms
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Enthusiastic attitude and flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace
- Passionate about social and digital media with an eye for trends
- Willing to work some nights and weekends as needed
- Ability to commute to NYC and be in office 2-3 days a week
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $26.99 to $29.99 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
