Best-One Kentuckiana is seeking an Assistant OTR Store Manager for our Best-One Giant Tire location.
Assistant OTR Store Manager Summary:
An Assistant OTR Store Manager will help us develop and implement our company's growth strategies. This position is designed for you to gain valuable experience in a leadership and managerial role with advancement potential in our organization.
You will support our leadership and management team with daily operational tasks such as leading team members, managing a store, allocating budgets, but this list is not all-inclusive.
What You'll Do as an Assistant Stoe Manager:
Collaborate with manager to complete daily tasks
Assist customers with making tire and service decisions
Create and process quotes, work orders, and invoices
Create Raving Fans with exceptional customer service
Understand the daily processes of how to operate a store from open to close
Provide administrative and operational support
Develop the knowledge and skill set to become an effective leader
Participate in company's strategic planning
Help manager in evaluating performance (e.g. generating and analyzing reports, Larry's report card)
Fill in for absent or unavailable personnel and on special tasks and projects related to optimizing our business
Become proficient in managing to our P&L
Learn standard processes for scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management
Other duties assigned
Your Qualifications:
At least 2 years of OTR and Industrial Tire & Service experience
Some management or leadership experience is preferred
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office is required
At least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license required
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform all job functions that require lifting and or carrying single items weighing at least 50 lbs., as well as functions and activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, reaching, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
