Position Objective

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, managing sales operations, asset protection, and human resources functions to ensure great customer experience and maximum profitability.

Functional Responsibilities
  • Analyzes sales reports and KPIs to determine the needs of the business and executes in-store business and sales strategies.
  • Establishes and communicates clear expectations, holding store team accountable for achieving all brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  • Controls payroll and supply budget.
  • Performs basic operational activities such as scheduling, audits, inventory, opening/closing duties, and payroll accuracy.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and conducts associate training to reinforce proper controls.
  • Ensures visual presentation and facility maintenance are representative of the Brand.
  • Motivates sales team to meet assigned sales and productivity goals.
  • Models, teaches, and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles.
  • Assists in recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing team.
  • Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of retail management experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
  • Proven customer service skills with a track record in sales and leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular attendance is essential; ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Constant Walking/Standing - 67-100% of 8-hour shift.
  • Occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs. - 1-33% of 8-hour shift.
  • Frequent Climbing - 34%-66% of 8-hour shift.
