Job Purpose
The Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Schools reports to the Superintendent of Secondary Schools and Schools of Special Education and works in collaboration with the Superintendent in the management and operation of the secondary schools. The secondary schools are managed by the Office of Catholic Education in collaboration with the local presidents and principals.

Qualifications
Practicing Catholic as verified by the pastor of the parish in which the applicant is registered.
Masters or Advanced graduate degree required.
Three (3) to five (5) years in high school leadership experience preferred.
Experience in central office or district office preferred.
Excellent understanding of computer systems.
Ability to think creatively and strategically.
Must possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate an ability to work in a team environment.
Effective communication skills.
Provide leadership for staff and establish clear roles and responsibilities with measurable performance objectives (annual performance evaluations).
High-energy individual who is self-motivated, and a confident, capable presenter, both verbal and written.
