ResponsibilitiesInspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specificationsInspect all material upon arrival to the jobsite to ensure complianceReview plans to identify potential violationsDocument inspections and report any issuesDetermine the quality of materials being used throughout testingQualificationsBachelor s Degree in engineering or construction management a plusMinimum (6) years of experience in building construction trades.Minimum (4) years of experience as a Construction Inspector including inspection of site/civilOSHA 30 hr.Proficiency with web-based submittal collaboration systems Construction scheduling knowledge to support project team Experience with the Uniform Code and NYC Supplement is preferred Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and proceduresAbility to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computationsExperience reading and interpreting plans and specificationsStrong written and oral communication skillsCollaborate with multiple team membersAbility and coordination to safely maneuver around a construction site Please visit our website for all of our career opportunities at Compensation: Min: $25/hr. - Max: $45.00/hr.The range provided is the salary that the Firm, in good faith, believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.
