Job Description:

As an Assistant Superintendent you will play a key role in supporting the superintendent and managing the day-to-day operations of our industrial construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and in accordance with the highest industry standards.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Superintendent in overseeing all aspects of daily construction activities on-site.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and construction workers.
  • Ensure that all work is performed according to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and report issues or delays to the Superintendent.
  • Maintain a safe and organized job site, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Track and verify materials and equipment deliveries.
  • Assist in managing project schedules and ensuring timely completion.
  • Help resolve any on-site issues or conflicts to minimize delays.
  • Participate in weekly project meetings and provide updates on job site progress.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in construction, preferably with a focus on industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
