ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid New Jersey administrative certification with school administrator endorsement, or certificate of eligibility
2. Minimum of 3 years successful teaching experience
3. Successful experience in public high school administration
4. Knowledge of applicable requirements and best practices in high school curriculum and instruction
5. Knowledge of applicable requirements and best practices in public school staff recruitment, employment, professional development, evaluation, and retention
6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with parents and community groups and agencies
7. Demonstrated leadership in school improvement, staff development, program development and curriculum integration
8. Strong leadership and communication skills
9. Satisfactory results of a criminal history background check, New Jersey residence pursuant to New Jersey First Act, proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident status.
