Part-Time Office Assistant (in-office, day shift)

Salt Lake City, UT

We are looking for a dedicated Office Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate would be hard working, detail oriented, good at following directions, picking up where others left off and able to prioritize tasks. You will be working directly under and supporting our Office Manager to complete projects and tasks for our weekly flow and occasionally, supporting the owners of the company. Hours: 9:00AM-3:00PM, Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Total hours: 18-20 per week

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay: $20-25/hr depending on experience (DOE)

Job Type: Non-benefited

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with shipping duties creating bills of lading, packaging shipments, creating delivery tickets, and scheduling pickups.
  • Assist in generating POs, entering invoices, and setting up vendors within QuickBooks.
  • File payables accurately and alphabetically.
  • Enter items into and monitor our inventory program.
  • Review timecards for completeness and accuracy. Assist in gathering any time corrections or approvals.
  • Generate forms or labels for various projects.
  • Enter information into our program to ensure compliance with government regulations
  • Track office supplies inventory, order and stock new inventory as needed.
  • Assist the office manager and ownership with other tasks as needed.
  • Work cohesively with the office team to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Support the team as new items and tasks come up throughout the day.
  • Interface with production workers in the shop.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years as an office assistant or similar experience.
  • A high school Diploma or GED required.
  • An associates degree from an accredited university preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience working in QuickBooks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Must have 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, and Outlook.)
  • Must be punctual and reliable with attendance.
  • This position is in person. Remote work is not possible.
