Location: all cities,TX, USA
Provides administrative support to assigned minister and Student Ministry at Prestonwood Baptist Church - Plano Campus (PBC-PC).
Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative assistance to assigned minister, including scheduling appointments, answering telephone, ordering office supplies, and other administrative duties
* Respond to requests and inquiries from ministry leadership, teachers, members, attendees, and prospects
* Provide administrative support for LifeGroups, including preparing and updating rosters, student assignments, discussion guides and other resources as needed
* Compose and distribute correspondence for the ministry
* Maintain calendar of events for the ministry
* Coordinate with appropriate church staff for the purpose of organizing ministry events
* Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
* Under the direction of the assigned minister, compose and create informational letters, brochures, etc. for distribution
* Prepare materials for training for students and adult leaders
* Assist with the preparation for special events conducted by the Student Ministry
* Maintain files, including databases
* Attend and work events on and off campus
* May run errands to local stores
* May order supplies, gifts, flowers, etc. for the ministry
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Requirements:
* Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC-PC
* Some college, college degree preferred
* Prior experience in an administrative role preferred
* Intermediate to Advance skills in Microsoft Office products
* Excellent planning and organizational skills
* Team player
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral
* Ability to work a varied schedule, generally Monday - Friday with occasional Sundays and special events
* Able to perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs and be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 10 pounds without assistance
