Description and Requirements The Opportunity: As the AVP and Global Head of Employee Relations Investigations you will be responsible for leading a global team of investigators to ensure that workplace issues are handled effectively, ethically, and consistently. This role requires superior management skills to build and continuously strengthen employee relations capabilities, the ability to conduct thorough workplace investigations, and the aptitude to influence leadership in fostering a culture of integrity, compliance, and respect within the organization. The role also requires a leader with a proven track record of building fit-for-purpose operational metrics inclusive of service level agreements and forecasts to deliver efficient and effective employee relations services as well as program management experience inclusive of data analysis to discern trends and proactive initiatives to further strengthen the core cultural tenets at MetLife. How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities):
- Lead and mentor a team of global investigators, promoting best practices in conducting workplace investigations.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of investigations across regions, aligning with company policies and local regulations.
- Develop and implement training programs for investigators to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to investigative protocols.
- Oversee and participate in complex investigations related to workplace complaints, policy violations, and ethical violations.
- Analyze findings, prepare comprehensive reports, and recommend appropriate actions to resolve conflicts while safeguarding employee rights and organizational integrity. Also conducts macro analyses to discern trends and develop initiatives to further strengthen the core cultural tenets at MetLife.
- Partners with Compliance, Legal Affairs, and Risk Management functions on relevant investigations and reporting.
- Researches, interprets, advises, and ensures adherence to company policy, programs, procedures, state, federal, and local employment laws.

Experience:
- 10+ years of employee relations or human resources generalist experience.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in Employee Relations theory, practice, policies, and procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of Human Resource Management and connection points with ER
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to influence and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
- Employee Relations experience in markets outside the United States and preferably spanning Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Middle East.
The salary range for applicants for this position is $157,800 to $210,400.
