We're seeking an Assistant Vice President of Business Development to join our team!What you'll do!The Assistant Vice President of Business Developmentserves as a liaison to Inceptia and its external and internal customers to create new business opportunities. This role involves overseeing the daily revenue-generating activities for the Northeast territory for current and prospective clients in the Higher Education sector. As the Assistant Vice President of Business Development, you will effectively identify and assess client needs while promoting Inceptia's products and services as solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong sales track record, is a strategic thinker, has a passion for innovation, and has a talent for building relationships and evaluating growth opportunities.In addition to enhancing relationships between Inceptia and its clients, you will implement annual sales plans, participate in National Business Development Meetings, assist in developing and launching new or improved company products and services, and represent Inceptia at client and industry events, delivering professional subject matter presentations. We are looking for candidates who reside in the Northeast region and have experience selling to schools in that area.What We Offer

What you'll need!
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required; a graduate degree is preferred.
- A self-motivated individual with two years of relevant experience or training in Higher Education Administration, Higher Education Consulting, or a related field; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven self-starter with a measurable track record of sales success.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
- A solid interest in creativity and innovation and their positive impact on business growth.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while collaborating with individuals both within and outside the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to Higher Education.
- A sound understanding of basic higher education enrollment and financial aid principles.
- Successful completion of a background check is required.
