Van Metre is seeking a skilled Assistant Warranty Manager within the New Homes Division!As the Assistant Warranty Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Warranty Manager in administering Van Metre's new home warranty program within our communities. The goals of this position are to deliver a world-class customer experience to homeowners by developing positive relationships, as well as providing reliable services that also empower our homeowners to maintain a healthy home to enjoy for years to come. Responsibilities: Assist the Warranty Manager with ensuring that all warranty-related needs of assigned communities are met.Serve as a Van Metre presence within communities during business hours.Assist the Warranty Manager with meeting departmental Key Performance Indicators ( KPIs ) including: Ticket cycle timeCustomer satisfaction/survey performanceBudget/Purchase Orders Serve as a point of contact for homeowner communications, ensuring timely and effective responses.Serve as Van Metre Warranty presence at all Homeowner Reveals within assigned communities.Develop skills needed to evaluate warranty item concerns and successfully identify their root cause and determine if warranty coverage applies.Schedule and supervise item resolution efforts with trade partners, homeowners, and Van Metre teammates.Provide detailed documentation of warranty items, efforts, and resolutions.Utilize mobile devices, HubSpot software, apps, and other software to track and document team activities and efforts.Proactively serve our homeowners during their experience with Van Metre, ensuring resolution of all concerns.Complete Van Metre's Warranty Training Program.Continue to train on warranty process, systems, and standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or 2 years professional experience in construction or maintenance related field.Ability to work within a collaborative team structure.Excellent customer service skills including conflict resolution and strong oral and written communication abilities.Ability to learn and train on CRM tools and apps.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
