The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Wellness Director in providing direct care to residents, and to assist in the day to day care activities performed by the caregivers ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Assistant Wellness Director Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain the staff schedule
  • Provide supervision and assistance with ADLs
  • Flex schedule to cover open shifts as needed
  • Assist with the maintenance of resident care plans
  • Review and audit patient records
  • Administer medications according to procedures
  • Train new staff on proper techniques
  • Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions
  • Promote positive family and resident relationships
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
  • Participate in manager on call rotation
Ideal candidate will:

Qualifications:
  • Licensed or Registered Nurse with a minimum of at least three to five years in home health or senior living nursing, or a similar position.
  • A minimum of two to four years of supervisory experience required.
