FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY (FVSU), a state and land-grant institution of the University System of Georgia, invites applications for the position of Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the head coach, responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting in the evaluation and recruitment of prospective student athletes; training and development of players; scouting; team travel arrangements; scheduling; promotions and marketing; fund-raising projects; and summer camps.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist in evaluation and recruitment of prospective student athletes.
* Assist in the training and development of players; scouting; and team travel arrangements.
* Assist in scheduling, promotions, marketing, fund-raising projects, and summer camps.
* Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field.
* Two years coaching or playing experience at the collegiate level or above.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in physical education or related field; Demonstrated coaching and/or collegiate playing experience in the NCAA Div. II Conference; and, demonstrated experience recruiting student athletes.

* Demonstrated ability to adhere to the University, NCAA, and SIAC Conference rules and regulations. Appointment subject to NCAA violation report clearance.
