Thisposition has accountability for budgeting and financial management, as well as all community business andhospitality services, including customer relations, concierge, food and beverage, active life, health andwellbeing, and environmental services. Together they ensure seamless integration of gracious living, hospitalityand a commitment to unsurpassed holistic care and wellbeing.The Executive Director is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, andrespect in all of the following responsibilities:Leads, implements, sustains and rewards a culture of wellbeing, teamwork, and respect for residentsand team membersAlong with the home office and community leadership teams, hires, retains, and leads a team of healthcare, hospitality and business team membersAlong with leaders from other Waters' communities, works closely with corporate operations to developand implement streamlined and consistent processes across the enterpriseManages community budget, including labor standards and community level expenses, understands andmanages profit-loss statements, maximizes revenues and manages expensesAlong with the Senior Living Consultant, ensures revenue and occupancy goals are achievedSupports the Director of Health and Wellbeing in financial, human resources, and customer service areasWorks closely with food and beverage leadership to ensure high quality and exceptional customerservice and ambience in our restaurant and caféAddresses escalated resident or guest complaints to ensure the highest level of customer serviceEducation & ExperienceCurrently licensed as an Licensed Assisted Living Director in the state of Minnesota, or ability to obtainrequiredBachelor's degree in health care, hospitality services, finance, or related field preferredMinimum of three years' of relevant experience in customer-oriented leadershipPrevious experience in senior services preferred Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesPossess compassion for and commitment to hospitality and service in elderly careDemonstrated ability to manage budgets, profit and loss statements, maximize revenue and manageexpensesCommitment to customer service and team member/ resident wellbeingStrong leadership and management skills, including effective relationship building, business acumen andcommunicationStrong organizational skills, with experience in negotiating and working toward mutually beneficialsolutionsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people andbring a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and energy to the roleAbility to analyze and communicate financial information in a concise, professional manner #indeedHKThe Waters is an equal opportunity employer proudly committed to a diverse workforce.
