- Every other weekend, with rotating weekdays, 10am-630pm

Key Responsibilities: As a Cook at The Manor, you will have various responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Checking and inspecting food products and supplies in the absence of the Executive Chef.
- Supervising and assisting in the storage of supplies and food products.
- Cooperating with inter-departmental personnel to ensure dining services meet residents' needs.
- Creating and maintaining a positive atmosphere throughout the unit and shift.
- Meeting with the Executive Chef regularly to identify and correct problem areas.
- Reporting and addressing resident complaints and grievances.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and community rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Determining the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus.
- Coordinating food preparation and meal service.
- Preparing, seasoning, cooking, and serving meals; ensuring appropriate portioned servings according to standards.
- Preparing nutritional snacks for residents as directed by the Executive Chef.
Qualifications: We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent education (preferred).
- Experience in a commercial kitchen is required.
- Preference given to those with education in quantity cooking and therapeutic diets.
- Minimum two (2) years of food service experience in a healthcare dietary setting (desired).
- General knowledge of quantity food preparation and portioned serving.
- Numerical ability for recipe preparation and proper measuring.
- Good motor coordination and manual dexterity for various work routines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including during emergency situations.
- Must pass a criminal background check and meet health and state requirements, including TB testing.
- Must be in good mental and physical condition.
