The Assisted Living Manager provides leadership for resident care in the community by directing administration of the assisted living and memory care neighborhoods under the direction of the Director of Resident Care (DRC), to promote the health and wellness of the resident population. Responsible for scheduling for all shifts and responds to call-offs by finding available replacement staff. Assists the DRC with all administrative duties and enhances clinical operations.Benefits:

Shifts:
  • 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday - Saturday
  • As needed to cover floor
  • Must be available weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Investigate and resolve resident and family concerns and complaints.
  • Participate in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives with nurse leadership within the assisted living community to mitigate risk and improve resident care outcomes.
  • Recruit, hire and train Assisted Living and Memory Care team members and is responsible for performance management, evaluation, and engagement.
  • Scheduling, and training of personnel and ensures staff are familiar with and adhere to state regulatory standards.
  • Maintains high staff morale and fosters a supportive work environment.
  • Address issues and/or concerns as requested by Director of Resident Care.
  • Gather all move in documentation including medical and contact information for all new residents.
  • Provides superior customer service preserving Resident Retention.
  • Communicate directly with other disciplines involved in resident care on a regular basis, including weekends.
  • Participates in the Manager on Duty rotation.
  • Member of the community's emergency response team.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • Licensed Vocational Nurse preferred but not required. If currently licensed compensation will reflect licensure.
  • 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in an assisted living setting as a Lead or Manager.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and clear driving record that meets the requirements of our insurance carrier and company policy.
  • Computer proficiency with electronic medical records, the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to learn new applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
  • Ability to speak, read & write English.
  • Must be willing to undergo a routine background check including physical and drug screen.
