ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
- Provide itinerant evaluation, training, and technical support services related to the use of assistive technology in the community
- Perform clinical evaluation of client's needs for assistive technology
- Provide training related to assistive technology to individual clients and/or caregivers
- Coordinate equipment requisitions with clients, funding agencies and other interested parties, and provide installation of equipment as needed
- Provide consultation services to clients and contracting agencies regarding assistive technology both by phone and in person
- Maintain appropriate documentation based on professional practice, regulatory requirements, policies and procedures, contracting agency requirements and third-party payor guidelines
- Achieve established productivity standards based on job assignment
- Submit paperwork and billing requirements in a timely manner in accordance with agency standards and with strict adherence to deadlines
QualificationsPREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Licensed SLP, OT, COTA, PT, and/or ATP
- Experience working with assistive technology
- Maintain a valid professional licensure
- Follow ethical guidelines as required by each licensing agency
- CPR/BLS preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Strong organizational skills
