The Associate Account Manager works under general supervision and partners with local Account Managers and Regional Managers to increase sales support, including case coverage, building customer relationships and therapy awareness of Inari's portfolio of products.
Responsibilities
* Work with physicians and hospital staff professionals at all levels selling using clinical data, stocking, and selling new products.
* Focused on prospecting, generating interest, and uncovering sales opportunities.
* Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas. Driving incremental revenue through successful sales activities.
* Develop new and growing existing relationships with clinical staff, nurses, and physicians; leverage customer relationships to increase sales revenue in territory.
* Use the established database to develop and maintain an ongoing record of existing and potential customers in the CRM, i.e., Salesforce and other administrative support.
* Educate physicians on device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques related to Inari products.
* Discuss product fit and communicate the value proposition to meet customers' goals and objectives using Inari products and creating therapy awareness.
* Identify market development opportunities within an existing portfolio of customers across all markets and products.
* Provide effective internal communications across all departments within the organization.
* Attend trade shows and conferences in the territory as assigned.
* Work with Account Managers and Regional Team(s) to coordinate sales opportunities and relationship development, and case coverage.
* Other duties as needed.
* Travel up to 80% of the time - both locally and regionally, and occasionally overnight.
* Night/weekend on call per preplanned scheduled.
* Extensive periods of sitting, standing, and speaking.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of sales experience; three (3) years preferred; in medical device or pharmaceutical sales.
* Maintain all certifications and vendor credentials.
* Apply critical thinking skills to solve complex clinical problems.
* Excellent command of the English language with comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Must have the ability to concentrate on detail and work independently and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.
* Demonstrated experience of strong influential skills and followership.
* Must have desire to participate in a healthcare team in the treatment of patients and anticipate needs of others.
* Comprehensive computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office with ability to develop presentation materials.
* Strong sales and business acumen.
