JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing Property & Casualty Insurance Company who are looking to add an associate actuary. The ideal candidate will have pricing experience in reinsurance and the P&C industry.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in a Property & Casualty (P&C) actuarial role.
- Actively pursuing ACAS/FCAS designation; ACAS or FCAS preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Power BI, VBA, SQL, etc.
- Pricing experience, particularly in reinsurance or primary insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate reinsurance structure and pricing for P&C lines of business.
- Contribute to quarterly closes and reserve analyses for the organization.
- Collaborate across functions for data governance and analytics initiatives.
- Conduct loss trend studies and develop risk assessment models.
