Job Description:
Responsible for developing and maintaining existing databases, assist with developing energy forecast models, provide management with accurate financial projections and identify future opportunities.Assist in the analysis, preparation, review and document the strategic, financial, resource and operations planning, and other scenarios as requested by management Proficient in producing and analyzing all elements necessary for the development and analysis of the annual load forecast including the development of the annual peak demand and energy forecast Work in conjunction with traders and analytics team to provide tools and valuations through quantitative risk analysis of the energy trading portfolio Analyze weather, economic, and financial statistics, customer usage patterns and other various statistical information used in forecasting and analyzing rates, load forecasts and revenue forecasts Update, review and support the financial model and maintain interfaces with fuel, revenue, operations and maintenance, plant and construction data interfaces Provide support, analysis, and recommendations for traders Develop and maintain analytical abilities to lead and/or support existing or new projectsEducation and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
