Kelly Science is seeking an Associate Scientist for a growing company located in Cambridge, MA.Pay: $65-75/hourShift: Monday-Friday 1st ShiftEmployment Type: 3-6 month contractBenefits: Standard Kelly Benefits (Medical, Dental, etc.)Summary:As the Associate Scientist, you will be responsible for directly supporting the execution of analytical development activities within the technical development organization.Job duties include:
- Perform various biophysical methods utilizing HPLC, CE, and icIEF, to generate high quality data to support process characterization and process development of gene editing components and drug products.
- Organize and present analytical data to various cross functional teams internally and also externally to CDMOs or CTLs.
- Assist in authoring, revising, and reviewing test methods, technical reports, and supporting documentation.
- Manage analytical requests, sample and consumable inventory to deliver results in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in biological sciences, biotechnology or a scientific related field
- 4-5 years of experience with various protein analytics utilizing techniques involving HPLC, icIEF and CE-SDS.
- Strong knowledge and experience with HPLC required. Must have demonstrated experience with troubleshooting.
