Associate Analytical Scientist

Location: North Carolina

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 + Benefits + bonus

A biotechnology organization local to Miami/ Fort Lauderdale is looking to add an associate scientist to their Analytical Department. They are focusing on developing innovative solutions in the field of biotechnology. While expanding across all verticals of CMC, they are utilizing cutting-edge technology to create products that have a positive impact on human health and the environment. Their research and development efforts are aimed at addressing various challenges in the biotech industry and improving the overall quality of life for individuals. They are seeking a motivated individual who is looking to expand their Analytical skillset with a small molecule platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analytical testing and method development to support the development of new products with 2-3 years of industry experience.
  • Perform data analysis and interpretation to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve analytical issues.
  • Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Document experimental procedures, results, and findings in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in analytical techniques to continuously improve processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences) with 3-5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in a GMP setting
  • Strong background in analytical chemistry and method development.
  • Proficiency in using analytical instruments and techniques, specifically HPLC
  • 3+ years of experience in Empower Software.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and quality control standards in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
