They play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, developing, and executing visual solutions that effectively communicate the desired message. This role is guided by Creative leadership to ensure quality, adherence to the client's brand, and explores concepts in a strategically viable way to shape the overall design approach. They work on multiple projects simultaneously and may lead others on assignments.This position will support our Design team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX; however, we are also open to candidates based out of:Chicago, ILLas Vegas, NVEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesUnder the guidance of Creative leadership develops two-dimensional creative concepts and visual strategies that align with the project objectives and brand guidelinesMay provide artistic direction and guidance to designers and other team members to ensure the visual elements meet quality standards and effectively communicate the intended messageProvides feedback to junior designers to help them grow professionallyWorks closely with copywriters, designers, photographers, and other creatives to integrate visual and written elements seamlessly and ensure cohesive storytelling across various media channelsReviews and approves final designs, layouts, and artwork to ensure they meet client expectations and adhere to brand standards, industry trends, and best practicesMay act as the main point of contact for clients regarding graphic decisions, presenting concepts and designs, and addressing feedback and revisions throughout the project lifecycleHas advanced knowledge and skills in relevant software applications and tools: Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc)Is a positive and proactive partner to other departments involved in the project (i.e. production, fabrication, account direction)Practical awareness to project scope and forecasting future workloadEducation & ExperienceBachelor's or Masters Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required6+ years relevant experience (event industry preferred)What We OfferFreeman provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
